RivWomen Mentee Application

Riverview Women's Ministry is excited to launch the third year of our mentee program! Please carefully read the following description of our program before applying.

 Riverview's Women's Mentee Program is an eight month program (September through April) designed to provide an opportunity for women to grow spiritually with God and His Word through relationships, study, openness and walking in the Gospel. Ideally, mentoring is best done one on one. However, some women feel that a small mentoring group of 2-3 is better for their growth. Mentors meet individually (or if in a mentor group, meet both individually and in their group) either weekly or every other week; this is decided by each individual group at the beginning of the program. During the week, you will be expected to spend about 60-75 minutes reading the study and preparing answers to share via text or during the meetings. One goal we have for the program is to provide a safe space to be open and vulnerable with other women about struggles, failures, challenges and growth. This is a space to share what has been learned and authentically encourage one another. As always, this is also an opportunity for women to grasp in greater ways, the depth of Christ's love and what the finished work of the cross has achieved to bring an understanding of our freedom, our position, and our identity in Christ. 

 Our Mentoring Kick-Off event takes place September 8 from 7-9pm at the Chapel in our Holt Venue. Please reserve this evening as a time to meet your mentor (or mentor group), as well as all of the women in the mentoring program, and pick up your materials for the following eight months of mentoring. 

 Growth is most consistent and deep when you commit to three or four 15-20 minute studies per week in addition to the mentoring meetings. We recognize this is a big commitment and ask that you prayerfully consider the investment before applying.
